Law Clerk Program
At McCarthy Lebit, our law clerk program provides law school students with the training, exposure, and foundation needed to become exceptional attorneys. What makes our program unique is its tailored approach: clerks are assigned projects aligned with their areas of interest, allowing them to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in the fields they are most passionate about, fostering deeper engagement and enhancing their professional development.
Throughout the program, clerks work closely with attorneys on a variety of projects, receive constructive feedback, and participate in firm events and practice group meetings. Additionally, clerks get hands-on experience and direct client contact, including inclusion in negotiations, drafting sessions, depositions, pre-trials, and trials. This level of engagement ensures clerks develop practical skills, professional confidence, and a deep understanding of the legal process.
Some of our current attorneys began their journey as clerks, gaining exposure to meaningful cases, mentorship from experienced attorneys, and hands-on experience that laid the foundation for success.
