McCarthy, Lebit, Crystal & Liffman Co., LPA is pleased to announce the election and promotion of Adam Glassman to Principal of the firm, effective January 1, 2025. Adam joined McCarthy Lebit in 2014 as an office clerk, and his role evolved as he began law school, transitioning to a law clerk position with the firm. Upon graduating, he was offered an associate attorney position, marking the start of his tenure as a McCarthy Lebit attorney. Over the past several years, Adam has built a diverse legal practice, gaining experience in both transactional and business litigation matters.
“I first met Adam when he was still in college, as the grandson of one of my amazing mentors. From the start, my gut told me that he was a winner. Years later, he has far exceeded my greatest expectations. I am so honored to now call him my partner,” said McCarthy Lebit President Kenneth Liffman.
Adam is a member of the firm’s Business & Corporate, Real Estate & Construction, Mergers & Acquisitions, Banking & Finance, and Hospitality & Liquor Law practice groups. He describes himself as a “transaction generalist,” primarily covering real estate, construction, and general business matters. He regularly represents individuals and business clients in commercial real estate matters and advises clients on a range of business matters, including entity formation, banking, financing, corporate governance, dissolution, mergers and acquisitions, and everything in between. Additionally, he has experience handling civil litigation matters that concern real estate, construction, and business disputes.
As a newly elected Principal, Adam’s intends to continue providing a high-level of client service. He finds great satisfaction in being able to help a client navigate a transaction or point them in the right direction. He strives to be the first call they make whenever they require legal advice.

Since 2023, Adam has been honored with inclusion on the Ohio Super Lawyers® Rising Stars list in the area of “Real Estate.” This year, he was named to the Best Lawyers® Ones to Watch list in the areas of “Corporate Law” and “Real Estate.”
Adam is an active member of McCarthy Lebit’s Law Clerk Committee, where he plays a key role in recruiting and mentoring the firm’s law clerks. Having begun his legal career as a law clerk at McCarthy Lebit, Adam brings valuable insight and experience to the committee, making him an invaluable resource for the firm’s law clerks. Adam is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association as well as the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. After graduating from Miami University, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree, Adam earned his Juris Doctor from Cleveland State University College of Law.
