Overview
Nicholas R. Oleski is a Principal attorney at McCarthy Lebit in the firm’s litigation practice group. His practice has a focus on commercial litigation, white collar criminal defense, and debtor and creditor rights litigation.
Nicholas has experience with all stages of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, trial, and appellate arguments. He advises his clients on a wide variety of disputes including shareholder litigation, professional liability claims, and employment claims. His white collar criminal defense experience includes defending health care professionals and public officials facing criminal charges.
As his litigation practice continues to expand, which more recently has included defending high profile public officials, corporate executives, and specialized professionals (such as healthcare professionals, attorneys, and CPAs) that are facing significant criminal prosecutions, Nicholas' practice will continue to include a broad mix of general commercial litigation, including shareholder disputes, employment litigation, and professional liability claims for individuals and business, both public and private.
A Macedonia city resident and a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Nicholas earned his J.D. from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law after earning his bachelor of arts degree from Ohio Wesleyan University. While attending law school, he also completed a judicial externship with the Honorable James S. Gwin of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
