Overview

Morgan Helgreen is Of Counsel in the firm's Family Law group, where she represents clients in a wide range of domestic relations matters. Her practice includes divorce and dissolution proceedings, complex property division, and the establishment and allocation of parental rights and responsibilities. She represents clients in parenting time disputes, juvenile court matters involving the establishment of parental rights and responsibilities, child and spousal support matters, and the establishment of child support. Her experience also includes post-decree matters, including custody modifications, support modifications, and enforcement proceedings, as well as the negotiation and preparation of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements and stepparent adoptions.

Through a combination of her litigation experience, mediation training, academic achievement, and community leadership, Morgan provides clients with skilled representation and compassionate counsel during some of life's most challenging transitions. Morgan is committed to helping clients navigate complex family law issues with practical guidance, thoughtful advocacy, and a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for families.

Morgan brings extensive experience representing individuals through all stages of family law disputes, from negotiated settlements and mediation to contested litigation. In addition to her work as an advocate, she serves as a Guardian ad Litem and Certified Mediator, providing valuable insight into matters involving children and family dynamics.

Beyond her legal practice, Morgan is active in community service and legal education initiatives, including volunteer work with The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association's Rights, Responsibilities, and Realities program. She has also dedicated her time to mentoring students through Ohio's High School Mock Trial Program. Currently, she serves as an officer of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Foundation, holding the position of Vice President of Finance for the 2026-2027 term. This term marks the second term that Morgan has held this leadership role.

Morgan earned her Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where she distinguished herself academically and received the Robert I. Zashin Family Law Achievement Prize and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Family Law. During law school, she served as an editor of both the Case Western Reserve Law Review and the Canada-United States Law Journal. Prior to law school, Morgan earned a Bachelor of Science, cum laude, from Texas Christian University, where she double majored in Strategic Communications and Political Science.
