Overview
Lauren Mayell is an Associate attorney in the firm's Family Law practice group. She is responsible for managing various domestic relations matters which includes helping clients navigate divorce, child custody, spousal support, and other related legal issues. Lauren joined McCarthy Lebit in 2023 as a dedicated family law clerk and has since gained valuable experience working within the group. Lauren’s contributions are instrumental in providing clients with high-quality legal representation during some of life’s most sensitive moments.
In particular, Lauren handles matters involving prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, dissolution, property division, establishment and modification of child support and custody, establishment and modification of spousal support, and post-decree matters.
Her approach to client relations is grounded in the recognition that domestic relations issues are often highly emotional and sensitive. She believes these matters require a compassionate, thoughtful approach, coupled with clear and effective communication.
Lauren graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science degree and went on to attend Cleveland State University College of Law where she earned her J.D. During law school, Lauren was a member of the Global Business Law Review at Cleveland State University College of Law, where she served as the Managing Editor of Development from 2023 to 2024.
