Overview

Kimon P. Karas is a Principal at McCarthy Lebit. He is certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a Specialist in Federal Taxation Law and is recognized as one of the leading authorities on tax law and wealth preservation. He is often sought out by both his peers and the media to dissect, analyze, and interpret the myriad of issues arising in the distribution of large estates. Kimon also has extensive legal expertise in corporate, general business, and partnership law.

Kimon is a frequent lecturer on the topics of federal, state, and local taxation, as well as estate planning. He served as an adjunct professor of law in taxation at Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
