Brian A. Korsberg

Overview

Brian A. Korsberg is McCarthy Lebit’s Controller. His duties include overseeing the day-to-day accounting and finance functions within the firm.

With over 10 years’ experience in accounting, Brian brings a wealth of knowledge to McCarthy Lebit. He first spent 4 years in public accounting focusing on taxes for high-net-worth individuals. Additionally, Brian assisted the firm with transitioning to new tax software as a dedicated super-user, ensuring a seamless conversion from the previous software.

He then transitioned to the sole Controller position at a multi-state B2B media company. In the 9 years he spent as Controller, Brian honed his skills in financial management and operations. Some of his key achievements included leading the accounting department as the business grew from $10 million in revenue to $65 million, and navigating the company’s sale to private equity.

Brian received his Bachelor’s of Accounting and Master’s in Accountancy, both from Case Western Reserve University.

In his spare time, Brian enjoys expanding his collection of modern board games and playing them with friends any chance he gets.
