Ava Hartney is a Paralegal in McCarthy Lebit’s Trusts & Estates practice group. In this role, she concentrates in the areas of estate planning and trust and estate administration.
Beginning her career working with clients on estate planning, probate, and elder law matters, Ava quickly learned the importance of understanding and addressing clients’ thoughts, feelings, and needs during sometimes challenging processes. Advocating for clients and ensuring they feel heard has become a cornerstone of her approach.
Currently, Ava focuses on handling plans for high-net-worth clients. She aids in the drafting of trusts, wills, and powers of attorneys, per client intentions; as well as helping clients navigate the trust funding process upon execution. She enjoys breaking down intricate legal issues into manageable solutions, all while prioritizing client confidentiality and understanding.
Ava values the opportunity to work alongside her supportive team, who foster a positive and collaborative environment for both colleagues and clients. She is passionate about making a meaningful impact in her role and contributing to the firm’s commitment to excellent service.
Since graduating from the ABA-approved paralegal program at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C), Ava has brought professionalism and compassion to her work, serving as a trusted advocate and intermediary for clients navigating sensitive legal matters.
