Overview
Annmarie Buckingham is a dedicated Paralegal within McCarthy Lebit’s Litigation practice group. In this role, she supports attorneys across a broad range of litigation matters and is involved in all stages of the litigation process, from initial case development through trial preparation and post-judgment proceedings. Annmarie plays an integral role in helping attorneys manage complex cases and keep matters moving efficiently, including matters within the Personal Injury/Wrongful Death group, where she has gained valuable experience assisting with sensitive and high-stakes claims.
With more than 20 years of experience in the legal field, Annmarie has worked across a variety of industries and practice environments. Throughout her career, she has held positions as a litigation paralegal, paralegal/ombudsman, and legal contract manager. This diverse background gives her a well-rounded understanding of legal processes, client needs, and the operational side of legal practice.
In her current role, Annmarie regularly assists with obtaining police reports, crash photos, and videos; pre-judgment and post-judgment filings; drafting discovery, motions, and subpoenas; legal research, discovery management, and trial preparation. She is experienced in organizing case materials, coordinating document production, and supporting attorneys in preparing for hearings, depositions, and trials.
Annmarie is a Certified Public Notary in the State of Ohio. She earned her Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies from the Academy of Court Reporting.
